There is no big secret about fasting juice diets or is there?!If you have tried every diet under the sun and failed then this might be worth a try?
What I recommend is a ONE day a week Juice only plan. This means one day a week you are not eating your usual 2000 plus calories, so the body must find another source of energy by burning of fat stores. Why one day? well its easy to do. You can do it in a weekend, perferrably on a Saturday, because your not working and Sunday you can goi back to eating normally before starting work. The Recipe Although the pulp is nice, being juice only you should strain the pulp out and leave the juice mix only. A teaspoon or so of pulp would be ok, and extra fibre, But personally does it really matter if its a juice smoothy rather then just juice? I dont know, but I say a smoothy is much nicer with some ingredients then with others. Example, Orange juice is nicer then Orange pulp, although some pulp in orange juice is nice I think. Orange juice is a good hunger suppressor and drinking glass of water often will fill the stomach making you more full and less hungry. Water has ZERO calories, so drink as much as you like diring the day, every couple of hours. You will go a toilet alot more frequently as expected, but this is good as water will flush out the kidneys and toxins. A typical juice glass to use would be a large glass (12 oz or more). You can have really as much juice as you like up to 2 or 3 glasses. Morning: Mix baby carrots. You will probably need a few of these to get enough juice add some pure water to the mix and a small stalk of celery. If you suffer hugh blood pressure then you should reduce the carrot juice volume with more water. Since its only one day, it shouldnt have much of a negative affect. Carrot juice is naturally sweet. Afternoon: Mix some orange juice, with a squeeze of some lime or lemon juice. alternatively, and not on medication, you can have grapefruit juice Dinner: Mix red grapes with half water melon and a handful of blue berries. Red grapes are great for the heart, water melon adds a tastey sweetness and blue berries all round BEST fruit with lots of trace elements and eye vision booster.
